Vey noisy but my cakes have come out light and fluffy.Sturdy base. Would recommend a cover for next model as dry ingredients come out when mixing even on low speed. I have made my own tin foil cover.

My biggest complaint about this machine is the noise. On the 4th speed I cannot hear my oven timer go off over it. I haven't tried it on the sixth as I haven't got any ear defenders. It is a very big machine and the suction cups on it are very strong so it takes some manoeuvring on the work top. I certainly would not get it out to beat a couple of egg whites. 1.5 kg is not a great capacity so you cannot make a medium size rich fruit cake in it. When the beater is in there is not much room for adding stuff unless you can pour it in from a jug. It is useful for beating stiff mixtures though.

Excellent I love this product I have had a mixer for years (Kenwood) but this rates as good if not better love the stainless steel bowl and its so stylish - would have liked a cover for it to stop it getting dusty as its out in the kitchen as its used frequently.

Initially fast delivery, but when I recieved the mixer it didn't work at all. Hence only 4 out 5. I contacted the company direct, they were very helpful and apologetic and they arranged next day delivery of the faulty mixer. I then received a replacement item only a couple of days later which was great. Although it is slightly noisy as some other reviews have stated, I didn't find it caused any problems. You do have to make sure you scrape down sides and the bottom though, as not all ingredients are incorporated at times.
It has saved me loads of time for cake making, as you can just add ingredients while still mixing and don't have to stop and start like you do with a hand held mixer. Great value for money. I shopped everywhere and for the price and size of motor, which is what you need if you make a lot of cakes etc, found it to be the best.

I was going to purchase a Kitchen Aid but didn't really want to spend that amount of money when I don't bake everyday or even every other day. So I looked through Amazon and read all the reviews and I came across this mixer and decided to go for it and purchase this mixer. When it arrived I took everything out of the box and started making cupcakes and icing. It says to give it a rest for 15-20 minutes in between mixing a full cake (or whatever your making) but truthfully I have had this mixer going about for 2-3 hours with maybe 3 minutes stops especially when I do bake sales and have had parties. The highest speed I've had it on is 2 there is really no need for it to be on any higher. I usually use the mixer utility but then change it to the whisk utility at the end so that it is completely mixed from the bottom of the bowl and I don't need to start mixing. I just wish that you were able to buy another bowl so I didn't have to stop and wash everytime when making loads of cakes and icings. Other than this I think this was a perfect buy for me and would highly recommend it to everyone. Enjoy the baked goods from this wonderful item :)
