I was disappointed with this machine. I'd wanted to own a genuine Italian espresso machine for ages, so my first disappointment was finding the machine was made in China (cunningly disguised as PRC) Although the design looks appealing in the pictures, in real life it's larger than I expected and the look and feel is plastic and a bit tacky. My machine also had a small hairline crack,unfortunately invisible until after I'd used it a few times. The coffee is fine, but no better than you'd get from a Bialetti stovetop pot. For me, the appeal of having an Italian machine was a combination of Italian looks, design and quality of coffee and this machine didn't match up.

I bought this from Amazon and have been really pleased with it. Looks well sitting on my kitchen worktop. Friends and family have commented on its shape. Makes great coffee too. I like the fact that it can use ground coffee, capsules and pods.

I actually got this machine thru points and a 65 excess from LeClerc in Lucca....I've owned several machines (Gaggia, Krups, etc) and nothing compares to the quality of the coffee and ease of use that this machine has.
For the money....were I to be offered a gaggia again I'd still have this over any.
Easy to use - easy to clean - easy to keep with fresh water and cheap to run.
Basically thats it !
