I received this ice cream maker as a Christmas present. I couldn't wait to use it because I love ice-cream! Unlike the other reviews, I read the instructions and realised that if you freeze the canister and make the mixture and leave it to chill on the same day it is not confusing and it only takes one night. Although my ice-cream wasn't quite as I had hoped I froze it and ended up with delicious ice-cream. So although I didn't end up with soft swirly ice cream it tasted amazing and unlike one of the other reviews I found Breville very helpful. I lost my instruction manual, so I e-mailed them and the replied very quickly and sent me another instruction booklet through Adobe reader!
