to buy or not to buy!!?Sent: 08 March 2006 I bought this slow cooker after being pregnant for the 3rd time!! and craving good old fashioned Stew!! I found it very good and I have made some hearty meals in it! I would agree some what with the above comment in that it does seem to get very hot and not need quite so long to cook as suggested even on low. This isn't a problem if you are only leaving things to cook for around 5 hours but it would be too long all day for some recipes.
much more entertaining than i had imaginedSent: 02 February 2006 This is brilliant, I bought it because i fancied making some hot-potesque things one day and this seemed pretty cheap to me. Now i use it all the time to make curries, hotpots, sauces....anything really!
