Yes, it is an excellent product. I am a devotee of loose tea. But how do you remove the accumulated tannin deposit from the strainer? I have tried chlorine, bleach and soda, but they are only partially effective, and can leave ther strainer tasting of chemicals. Any useful suggestions would be welcome!

The Chatsford teapot not ony pours well, but it is a nice size for pouring - however the reason why I will always use a Chatsford teapot is because it enables me to drink proper leaf tea, rather than use teabags.
Given the way the teapot is made, the filter holds the tea leaves and this means that you don't end up with an unexpected mouthful of tea leaves from the last cup in the pot.
I really wouldn't be without mine, well I have two actually!!

This is a lovely teapot with an internal fine strainer for loose tea. It looks like a real teapot and pours beautifully. The strainer fits perfectly inside the teapot and is deep enough for you to half fill the pot and still use it. Loose tea has a wonderful taste, so much nicer than teabags and this allows you to have it with no mess. The strainer taps out nicely into the compost bucket and is extremely easy to clean. The seller is excellent too - the product is well-packed and arrives very quickly.
