Great item, but watch out with highly salted foods!  Sent: 16 March 2008
I have had one of these now for three years.
At first I cooked EVERYTHING in it and it worked fabulously, until I went away for a week, leaving my husband home alone. I left a gammon joint to cook in the slow pot, however, he decided to chop it up and cook it in the George Forman. Because the item with a high salt content was left sizzling away for longer than you normally would, the coating died. Completely disintegrated. To add insult to injury, he then scrubbed the surfaces with an abrasive cleaner.
So be warned....a brilliant item, but to be treated with respect! It is best cleaned when still hot, using soapy water on a soft cloth.
My next `George' will have removable and soakable plates.....

With a family of seven to feed, we needed a grill with plenty of room on it - and this is it.

- Best of all - it's very easy to clean.

Absolutely fantastic, don't know why we didn't get one earlier. So easy and quick to use. Cleaning is no problem. Food cooks to perfection. Big and sturdy enough to cook for the whole family. Definitely recommend anyone to buy this product.

I was a bit apprehensive about buying this grill as I have never had one before but a friend strongly recommended the George Foreman grill so I went ahead and bought one when I received vouchers for Amazon at Christmas time. I was amazed at being able to buy this grill at such a low price.I have to say I am delighted with it and wonder how I have ever managed without one. Comes highly recommended!

The Big Classis Metallic Grill is a considerable size, it feels sturdy and was clearly built to last. The buttons on the front for the timer and standby are reassuringly clunky and the cooking plates can easily accommodate enough meat for the average family. I've had mine for at least 18 months and it has never given me a moment of trouble. It heats up in 5 minutes, beeps when its ready and you can set the timer to remind you when a set time has passed. In the box you get a couple of drip trays and everything you need to get started. Can't fault it!
