Great compact coffee grinder Sent: 09 August 2008 I bought this coffee grinder on the strength of the previous two reviews and I have to say I totally agree with them. This Kenwood coffee grinder is great. It is very easy to use: just push down the button for a few seconds and you have perfect coffee. Another great adavantage is that it is compact so you can take it with you when you travel. I wouldn't be without it. I brought a lot of coffee beans back from a trip round Central America and find that the beans from Guatemala and Panama make particularly good coffee.
Great coffee couldn't be easier Sent: 24 November 2007 I received one of these as a Christmas present last year and I've used it non-stop since. It is a truly magnificent grinder. The top of it doubles as a scoop and is the perfect measure for a "standard" cafetière. Simply scoop your beans, tip them into the grinder, pulse the button for 10 seconds and then tip the ground coffee into your cafetière. Coffee to perfection in an instant.
This little gadget dances all over the £100+ trendy coffee machines and is a LOT easier to clean. If you're like me you probably don't use your sexy expensive filter machine as often as you'd like because it's just too much hassle to prepare and clean. This little fella rarely needs cleaning - just the occasional wipe out with a piece of damp kitchen roll. Coupled with a cafetière, it's completely hassle free and produces the kind of coffee that makes your friends go "oooh...mmmmm...great coffee!".
My only tip is that when you first buy it, make sure that you wipe it out a few times before you use it - my first 5 cafetières tasted a bit plasticky because the grinder's new smell hadn't worn off yet. Once the plastic smell has died down (doesn't take long) it's a joy to use.
I can't recommend this high enough - if you love good coffee, buy one of these, you won't regret it.
Wonderful Little Machine Sent: 30 July 2007 We got this little machine a few weeks ago and it is so easy to use and the coffee is divine! Better than any pre-ground coffee! We use Lavazza beans in it. Get one now and you will find it a satisfying and easy way to enjoy your coffee even more. Just put the beans in, press the little button for a few seconds and you have the perfect amount! We grind fewsh for each pot we drink. You get about 3 servings per grind if you fill it to the top. The price of this machine is so cheap, there is no reason not to get one! You will be glad you did. I am ordering another one now. And if you have any coffee loving friends, it makes the perfect affordable gift!
