Full aluminium metal construction gives strength and durability and a polished 4.6L bowl with large handle beautifully combinine form and function. The planetary mixing action thoroughly mixes all ingredients quickly and effortlessl. The kMix also comes with a fold function for controlled mixing and incorporating of ingredients. The K beater, whisk and dough hook bowl tools are coated aluminium for versatility and convenience and the low speed attachment outlet increases your machines functionality with a variety of optional attachments. With a metal rotary control dial that delivers controlled power when you need it most and a plastic splashguard with a hinged lid over a wide pouring spout prevents against spillages. The GHI award is gained through a series of consumer quality assessment tests devised by the institute, and provides a rigorous benchmark for consumers across a diverse range of household products. Kenwood trade marketing manager Penny Jones said: "We're really excited that it has passed the Good Housekeeping Institute's expert researchers' test, with a fantastic grade of 91 out of 100." The kMix blender has a retro design, with 1.6l glass goblet, metal body and easy-clean design. It also features a dial for selecting function rather than speed. The blender is one of four products in the kMix range. The others are stand mixer - which has also received GHI accreditation, hand mixer and hand blender. They are available in raspberry coconut and almond.

This item arrived today using the new Amazon Prime service. First impressions on opening the box are WOWAWEEEWAHHHH as Borat would say! The mixer just oozes quality and style from every angle and the build quality and weight are faultless.
Its got every feature and then some of the far more expensive KitchenAid range with more power to boot. Ok the guarantee period is not ten years and I would have liked to see at least a 5year one as standard. All the attachments are high quality and finished beautifully.
If its as bomb proof as the mother in laws Kenwood Chef mixer has been for the last decade or more then we'll be happy. The fact that it comes with the equally stunning blender, as part of the deal, this really is a no brainer!
Bottomline--Buy one, you won't regret it.
