As with most of the other comments here the roaster is excellent. Good size, seemly really good non-stick surface (time will tell), really thick walls all round so feels really solid, good sized handles make getting it to and from the oven really easy. The rack is well a rack, not much more to say really but a really big bird probably wouldn't sit well on it.
As for the width, yep it's 39cm inc the handles. It wouldn't fit in my oven but i knew this before ordering. When it arrived i simply placed one of the handle ends on a rug (to stop it from slipping) and lent on the other end then did the reverse. Result, fits fine now and is none the worse for wear with minimal effort.
For £23 you just can't go wrong, buy it!

This is a very good, sturdy, solid roaster which makes cooking the sunday lunch a pleasure.
The non-stick coating makes washing up an absolute breeze.
The handles are great for lifting a heavy roast out of the oven, and it seems to be bomb-proof!
It comes up like new every time, and the rack is equally as easy to clean.
The one thing I will point out is that the height of the piece as a whole means that you need your oven shelves a ways apart. But you'd get that with any similarly-designed roaster.
It's definitely worth having something like this in your kitchen if you like a roast dinner!

I have had one of these dishes for around 3 - 4 years. It is still as non stick as ever and very easy to clean. The only problem is I didn't buy mine from Amazon and paid about double!

Like the other reviewer says above this pan is a lot bigger than stated. It was too big for my oven till I bent the handles inwards slightly. Other than that it's perfect, the non stick hasn't scratched in three years, it's made from heavy gauge aluminium so it doesn't buckle on top of the hob. I have since bought a second.

I now have two of these roasting dishes. They are fantastic. So easy to clean after a roast dinner - nothing sticks! The only minor problem is the handles which means that you can't get two in the oven at once! Transfers from oven to hob with ease meaning you can braise meat before cooking or make gravy afterwards.... wouldn't be without mine.
