Simply said, its very good Sent: 04 September 2010 I prefer to keep things simple, all I can say is this is an excellent machine, well made, easy to use. Thoroughly recommended.
Perfect Sent: 26 August 2010 I bought this for the wifes birthday from Amazon, following a friends recommendation. I must say the bread it makes is perfect. The missus is very pleased with it and says it is so simple to use (just chuck the ingredients in and it does everything else).
If you are thinking of getting a bread maker, I'm certainly no expert but going on the final results, you will be hard pushed to get better tasting fresh bread.
Oh and it makes Pizza bases, bread of all types and tons of other things we havent even scratched the surface with.
Brilliant bread! Sent: 08 August 2010 I have had this breadmaker a couple of weeks and I think it is absolutely brilliant! It made excellent bread from the word go. Even when I had a "senior moment" adding the ingredients in the wrong order it produced excellent bread. Also when I forgot to replace the kneading "paddle" and had to tip out the mixture to replace the "paddle" before replacing the now gooey flour, it delivered the goods! I can definitely recommend this machine.
Bread making machine Sent: 05 August 2010 This particular bread making machine was recommended to me by a friend, who had also been recommended by a friend. I am absolutely delighted with this machine. Since its purchase I have not found a need to go out and buy another loaf of bread. As yet I have only used the basic setting, however, I am looking forward to using some of the other recipes in the book, which know doubt will turn out as good as the white loaf. If I could add, I do not use as much salt as stated in the book, nor quite as much sugar - but I am still satisfied with the quality of the loaf.
Why Didn't I Buy This Sooner? Sent: 04 August 2010 This machine is wonderful. Gorgeous, freshly baked bread whenever you want it, what a wonderful thing to wake up to in a morning or come home from work to! I've made a range of different breads from the recipes as well as pizza dough and found them all to be very good, the instructions are simple to follow and the bread always keeps good for days.
Before I bought a bread machine I didn't understand why you would want one. Why would you want substandard bread (what I thought bread machines would make) with a great big hole on the bottom of it (which is what I imagined the mixing blade would leave)? After being convinced by a friend to give it a go I can attest that the above is far from true. The bread is wonderful, both warm and cold, it stays soft and fresh for days and is better than most shop bought stuff. And the hole? You hardly notice it. The depth is no more than the first knuckle on my first finger and about the same circumference and it hasn't been a problem making sandwiches or otherwise enjoying the bread - I had imagined it to be huge.
The timer and raisin dropper thingy are great, the machine is pretty quiet -I certainly don't notice it when it's mixing dough in the early hours to have it ready for getting up time- and being able to choose 3 different sizes for the loaf (medium, large or extra large) is a great feature. I've had it for about a month now and not had any problems. I would heartedly recommend it to anyone that wants to get a bread machine.
I have been trying to think of a downside to it, to offer a balanced view, and the only thing I can think of is the annoyance of having to wait for the machine to cool down before I can bake another loaf.
