We have had this kettle replaced once after 6 months and it has broken again within a year. We are not heavy users - once in the morning and a few times in the evening.
The kettle looks good, but is not worth the price.

a bit noisy when coming to the boil, doesn't switch off automatically when kettle is removed from base so when you put it back it would continue to boil. otherwise excellent for the purpose

This is so far one of the best value for money kettles I have ever bought in 30 years!!
I found it quick and reasonably quiet, unlike a lot of others I have owned and the water doesn't escape from the lid when it boils.

This kettle surpassed our expectations. It looks good, easy to use and has a good capacity. The best thing about it is that it is fast but not too noisey like our last kettle

For the price paid not a bad kettle, but a bit on the heavy side. Its speed boiling will never win a race, but again speed is not everything. The noise level when boiling is expectable, but no doubt there are quieter models.
Overall, it does the job, what more do you want from a kettle!
