Kenwood kMix HM790 Metal Hand Mixer (White) Sent: 03 August 2010 The hand mixer arrived in good order and within the time specified. It is very well made and does what it says on the can. A very good machine.
A must have kitchen gadget Sent: 18 July 2010 Just purchased this after my very old Kenwood hand mixer gave up the ghost. In a way Im very pleased it did, this is so much better and I love it. It has a great solid feel to it and is extremely quiet compared to my last one. It has 5 really useful speeds plus a pulse action button which will operate a slow speed all the time its depressed and stops when not. It comes on a neat storage stand although I still put mine away in a cupboard. The mixing beaters are large and work very well (havent tried the kneading hooks yet). I've only had it about 2 weeks and have already used it about 6 times and really enjoy using it. The only reason I didn't rate 5 stars was its a little bit weighty and if you were using it for any length of time it may start to feel uncomfortable. That said, I am so pleased I went for this one (very nearly opted for Dualit but changed my mind at the last minute and best decision for sure). Buy it, every home chef, mum, kitchen should have one!
A great mixer Sent: 03 April 2010 After a lifetime of wrist-ache, beating cakes, egg whites etc, I bought this very handy mixer. A great decision and making meringues has never been easier. It is visually attractive and has tools for mixing and kneading (although I haven't used the latter). It has a variety of speeds from fairly slow to very quick and a motor which sounds reassuringly powerful. Even at the fastest speed, the sound level is quite acceptable. It has a comfortable handle and is easy to hold although it might be a little heavy for some, weighing 2.5lbs plus. I would have given it five stars except for the following niggle - there is a recess at the base for the lead to coil around when not in use. However, when coiled, it will not sit within its storage stand. This means that you have an untidy bit of lead and a plug trailing from it. Having said that, I certainly don't regret buying it.
Great purchase Sent: 28 February 2010 This is my first hand mixer, and I love it. It's just the right weight so it feels solid but not heavy. Plenty of different speeds. Takes up hardly any space on the kitchen counter.
Kenwood kMix HM790 Sent: 26 May 2009 Nice handy size and storage features. Both attachments work well. Has a really nice feel when using and good motor.
