Fantastic! Sent: 09 September 2010 I bought this in February prior to moving house and it has been an utter joy to own ever since. My favourite feature is probably the time dial. It has come in very handy when cooking porridge and having to quickly turn down the time to stop it leaping out of the bowl! It is something I miss at the moment because, having moved back home, I am using the in house microwave while mine awaits transport yet again, and I have to say using other microwaves has proved to be a strange experience after this one - twisting the dial is far more fun that punching in a time code!
Designwise I also think this machine is fantastic, and that is important to me. I wanted a nice dark coloured microwave which would look good in my kitchen, and this has done just that. The clock has proved to be very handy as well, brightly lit it has helped me keep on time very successfully and is easy to program - useful if you move into a flat with frequent power cuts!
So yea this is an ideal addition to any home. Trustworthy, strong and easy to use, I recommend it whole heartedly. 5 stars.
Simplicity itself Sent: 07 August 2010 A super microwave with really simple controls. A doddle to use. Looks good too.
samsung microwave Sent: 22 July 2010 I was looking for a black simple to use no fuss microwave and found this. lets face it who uses all those fancy features on microwaves? not me thats for sure! so it does what it says, the controls could not be more simple, just dial in the time and away it goes. it appears to be of reasonable quality considering its pretty cheap anyway and because it has simple styling it blends into our black granite worktops and is easy on the eye, so many look like something from Dr who stuck on the worktop! all the power settings seem accurate enough and it cooks, heats and defrosts fine. only downside is that it tends to move on the worktop when shutting the door because its quite a light machine, could always put something behind it or put some grips on the feet to stop it sliding, its no great shakes though. had the makers solved this little problem it would be 5*. not had it long enough for reliability checks.
Luv this microwave Sent: 17 July 2010 I bought this to match the top of my hob and because my old microwave, although functioning perfectly well, was not large enough for my dinner plates. I just wanted a stylish machine for reheating simply. This fits the bill. Looks good and unbelievably easy to operate. In fact I have just ordered another for my old mum who is having difficulty understanding new technology. I wouldn't say it's a quality build but for the price you cant expect anything else. The top tends to sink in slightly when you clean it so it won't last for ever but neither will I. Still it looks good and works unbelievably well. Recommended for those who like simplicity and style.
